Our family is totally engaged in agriculture. Cattle, hogs, corn, pasture, clean water and good neighbors. Over the years, we've grown to 350 cows. We added a few special purchased cows plus 50 replacements last year. Our herd bull battery includes 2-Time National Champion Chiangus Bull WRL Tracken Norman PCA, RDD New Direction 1436R 2CA and RDD Crown Royal (calving ease bull). All of these outstanding bulls carry GeneStar markers for marbling and tenderness. That is our bread and butter, both dollars and information. Both will drive our future to become a leading source of truly superior breeding stock – bulls and females.

3 new young herd bulls DCL Mr. Rattle 1436x. This bulls dam was National Champion Chi Angus Female in 2008. His sire 1436 was high selling bull at Dieter Bros. 2006 Bull Sale, high in IMF and tenderness scores. WCC Exact Science 350x. His sire 2009 Reserve Grand Champion Angus at Fort Worth & 2008 Supreme Bull Overall Breed at the World Beef Expo. The dam to WCC Exact Science 350x is the same cow that produced 2008 National Champion Chi Angus female.

DCL Mr Royal One 902w is sired by RDD Crown Royal, a bull that has several easy keeping females in my herd & the dam is RDD She's the One that has epd #'s on the high and of the Chi Angus Breed. The cow that produced the 3rd high selling bull at Dieter Bros 2007 Bull Sale at $15,000.

Since 2009 we started to background most calves that we didn't keep for. In the 2010 ACA Beef Derby at Decatur County Feedyards in Kansas, we had the 2nd, 3rd & 4th place overall pens and placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th in feed efficiency.
